Deacons @ St Paul

The ministry of the Board of Deacons shall be one of compassion and shall include giving a helping hand wherever there is a need within the congregation, acting both as a Pastor’s Aid and as an outreach effort in the community.

The St Paul Deacons work behind the scenes taking care of our congregation and our surrounding community. They organize programs such as:
* Seeds of Hope: An outreach to our community were baskets are delivered full of goodies to places such as the Fire Stations, schools and Blood Center.
* Arranging Poinsettia and Lily deliveries so our sanctuary looks beautiful during the seasons.
* Card Ministry - mailing out get well , sympathy and miscellaneous cards.
* The Artisan Fair - an annual art and craft fair held on the last sat of Aug.
* Care Note and Greif Booklets: Giving those out who need an extra boost of encouragement during difficult times.
* Shepherding Call Tree: Calling tree to reach out to our church family and assist people as they need.
* Out Reach to our elderly community by doing projects such as working with St Paul Kids to make valentines day cards to send out!
*Making Cash gifts to people in our congregation who have fallen on hard times.
...And celebrating the fun times as hosting birthday and Anniversary parties during Fellowship time when a big milestone is achieved!
