Use Guidelines
The person who schedules the time will be the person "in charge" of making sure the following checklist is being adhered to during the time of rental agreement:
*Failure to follow the above guidelines may result in discontinued future use of the facility.
*St. Paul reserves the right to adjust or cancel scheduled sessions with 1-2 weeks notice, in the event of schedule conflicts with church activities.*
Scheduling and Payments
- To make a reservation you must call or email the office. Check the activity calendar for available times, then call the church office at 515-276-2818 (Tuesday-Friday 8:30 AM to 1 PM) or email [email protected] to make a reservation or to adjust or cancel.
- Reservations can be made, altered, or cancelled while the Office is OPEN. Please keep in mind that if you contact the Office outside of business hours, you may not be able to make/change/cancel a reservation until it opens again.
- We will always try to schedule at least 15 mins between groups to give both parties time to pick up and set up.
- Payments can be dropped off in the Rental Box. We accept both cash and check.
- All FIRST-TIME participants in the gym, MUST fill out an Activity Participation Agreement, located in the gym, and place it in the Rental Box, where it will be kept on file. This is a one-time form.
Family Activity Center (whole gym):
- To rent out the entire gym for sporting events and other events, rates are $40/hr.
- Max capacity for the gym is 100 persons.
Pickleball Courts:
- Open Pickleball: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9AM-11:30 PM, Monday evening 6PM - 8:30PM, Tuesdays 10:45AM-12:45pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 1PM-3PM, and Sundays 11AM-1PM.
- Cost is a suggested donation of $4.00 per person per session. Pay as you are able!
- Court Rentals: 90min sessions are currently being offered for rent.
- Rates are $20 for 1 court (up to 6 people) or $35 for 2 courts (up to 10 people).
- If one group rents 1 court for 90mins, please be advised that the other court could/can be rented for a second group of 6 for a second court at the same time.
Use Guidelines
The person who schedules the time will be the person "in charge" of making sure the following checklist is being adhered to during the time of rental agreement:
- Collect money from players and/or place the total fee in the Rental Box on the wall inside of the gym doors.
- DO NOT wear black-soled shoes. Please wear indoor shoes only. This prevents scuffing on the gym floor.
- Nets and balls are provided for pickleball. Participants bring their own pickleball paddles.
- Do not leave your equipment in the gym, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Do not enter any other areas of the building. Please only access the gym. The storage room in the gym is for STAFF USE ONLY. DO NOT adjust the thermostat.
- A water fountain with water bottle fill-up is located straight ahead through the main doors of the gym.
- Each participant must fill out a first-time Usage Waiver, which can be found in the Family Activity Center.
- After pickleball play is completed, spray and mop the floor. There is a 3-gallon sprayer in the gym with disinfectant. Replace the dirty mop pad with a clean mop pad and place the dirty one in the laundry basket.
- Report any misuse of the facility to the Office Coordinator.
