TAI-CHI
Tai Chi for Arthritis/Fall Prevention is characterized by slow and gentle movements and participants are encouraged to limit their range of motion to what is comfortable for them. Tai Chi is non-contact martial arts movements in a set form and it is expected to take a longer period of time to learn these forms. There has been research which indicates the Tai Chi can improve balance and prevent falls and injuries. Tai Chi also promotes good posture. Tai Chi can have a meditative effect and has been called a “moving meditation”.
Class is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00-9:00 AM.
Classes will begin Tuesday, March 19 and will run for 8 weeks.
Cost is $50
Please note: Class is $50 but if paying by credit card, a $3 credit card processing fee will be added.
Other options are to pay with cash or check at the St Paul office or on the first day of class.
